Biography
Mr. Bergman is outside counsel for Los Angeles County's largest transportation agency as it moves forward with its multi-billion dollar transportation infrastructure improvement plan for the County of Los Angeles. In this capacity, he regularly advises and represents the agency on eminent domain matters throughout the County.
Mr. Bergman has a broad range of experience in environmental and land use litigation, including matters under CERCLA, CWA, CAA, CEQA, OPA, Proposition 65, and state nuisance and trespass actions.
Mr. Bergman also represents public and private entities in multi-million dollar construction disputes. Mr. Bergman has specific expertise in the prosecution and defense of construction claims involving delay, disruption, acceleration, stop notices, performance bond actions, and claims under the California Public Contracting Code.
