Brian was honored for his significant work in eminent domain law. In his profile, the Daily Journal spotlights his representation of local governments in acquiring private property for public infrastructure projects across California.
“Eminent Domain is a specialized legal practice in California, requiring attorneys with both deep procedural knowledge and strong courtroom skills to navigate the complex rules that enable the state’s ambitious infrastructure plans,” Brian tells the Daily Journal. “The practice requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of legal procedure, appraisal valuation, construction, land use and environmental issues.”
Brian explains that his passion for improving California’s infrastructure development is what led him to pursue eminent domain law. “I was drawn to this practice because of the ability to be an integral part of getting infrastructure projects completed,” he adds. “Rather than just a battle of two parties fighting over money, you can drive by the infrastructure project and feel like you helped it happen,” he concludes.
