BDG Law Group is pleased to announce that Shareholder Michele M. Goldsmith has been honored by the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal as one of their 2026 “Top Women Lawyers.” This recognition highlights outstanding women attorneys and their notable achievements in the legal profession.
Michele’s profile in this year’s issue looks at her more than 30-year career defending public entity clients in employment litigation. It focuses on her trial work and her successful record of defense verdicts that have held up on appeal.
The profile highlights some of her most notable cases including her recent trial win in Rafael Gulkarov v. County of Los Angeles. The plaintiff sued the county alleging failure to accommodate, failure to engage in the interactive process, discrimination and retaliation. After three weeks of trial, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the county.
